My Grief Journal

Jake Journal Section Guide

Jake introduces the grief journal as a private writing space where members can reflect before choosing what to share.

User control first

Your journal belongs to you.

Members should never feel pressured to speak before they are ready. The journal gives them a quiet place to write first, then decide whether to keep it private, share themes with Jake by permission, or bring it into a human support conversation.

“You can heal here quietly too.

Why this exists

For the person alone with their thoughts.

Grief can feel isolating when there is no clear direction. This journal gives members a safe place to put thoughts down, breathe, and choose one next step without being pushed into a conversation before they are ready.

“You do not have to carry every thought by yourself.

Voice Journal

Speak your private reflection.

Your journal is private. You choose what to save, delete, or share. Voice entries are never posted to chatrooms automatically.

Voice journaling is being prepared. Recording storage will be connected soon.

Transcription is being prepared. Your voice journal can still be saved as audio.

New journal entry

Start with one honest sentence.

This is the front-end journal foundation. Saved entries will connect to the member database once Supabase/auth is fully connected. Journal entries stay private unless you choose otherwise.
